Disproving Iranian Death Claims

WATCH: Netanyahu Shuts Down Death Rumors in New Viral Clip

Prime Minister Netanyahu has released a lighthearted video from a local cafe to debunk viral AI-generated claims that he had passed away during the ongoing war.

Following a wave of AI-generated misinformation and deepfake videos circulating on social media claiming he had died, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu released a humorous and defiant video to prove he is very much alive. The Prime Minister appeared at a local coffee shop, casually interacting with citizens and the person filming, while addressing the bizarre rumors that have been pushed by hostile actors online. By using a lighthearted tone, Netanyahu aimed to neutralize the psychological warfare being waged against the Israeli public, showing that he remains in full control and active in his role as the country navigates a multi-front war against the Iranian regime and its proxies.

The Coffee Shop Proof

In the video, Netanyahu is seen standing at a cafe counter, holding a cup of coffee and smiling at the camera. The filmer jokingly asks him about the reports circulating online that he is no longer among the living. "What did you ask me? People are saying on the web that I’m dead? I’m dead for a coffee," the Prime Minister quipped, using a Hebrew slang term that implies he is "dying" for a drink. He then took a sip of his latte, visibly enjoying the moment and the opportunity to mock the propaganda machine that has been attempting to sow confusion and panic within Israel.

Counting the Fingers

One of the most notable parts of the video was Netanyahu’s direct jab at the flaws often found in AI-generated images and videos, which frequently struggle to render human hands correctly. To prove the video was authentic and not a sophisticated digital fabrication, he held up his hand and spread his fingers clearly for the camera. "You want to count the number of fingers? You can. Here, here. Did you see? Very good," he said, laughing as he displayed his hand. This specific gesture was a clever way to signal to the public that they should remain skeptical of the "deepfake" content being produced by the Iranian "crime empire" and its supporters.

A Message of Strength and Vigilance

While the tone was humorous, Netanyahu used the opportunity to deliver a serious message to the Israeli people and local leaders. He urged citizens to continue following the safety instructions of the Home Front Command and to stay close to protected spaces as the war continues. He praised the resilience of the public, stating that their strength gives power to him, the government, the IDF, and the Mossad. "We are doing things that I cannot share at this moment, but we are hitting Iran very hard even today, and also in Lebanon," he stated. Before leaving, he thanked the barista for the excellent coffee, though he joked that he wasn't sure about the calorie count. The video has since gone viral, effectively ending the rumors and reinforcing the Prime Minister's presence during this critical period.
