The IDF Spokesperson released more footage this morning (Thursday) showing how Hamas exploits the civilians around it knowing that Israel will not strike those areas, making it safe for them to make and store weapons there.

The footage shows IDF forces locating a site for producing and storing drones and weapons in the heart of the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood in the northern Gaza Strip and near schools. Children’s rooms and residences are clearly visible near the weapons warehouse, which contained bombs and Hamas operational plans.

Rocket Fire From Mosques and Youth Clubs

This isn’t the first time the IDF Spokesperson has exposed the cynicism of Hamas in exploiting the civilian population in the Strip for terror purposes.

At the beginning of the week, footage was released showing a range of civilian areas used by Hamas for firing rockets. While locating terrorist infrastructures and clearing the area, the 460th brigade’s battle team found rocket launching pits in the area of a mosque and destroyed them.

In addition, during a number of operations conducted by IDF soldiers in the past 24 hours, over 50 rockets ready for launch were located in a youth movement area in the northern Strip.
