Report: Today's explosion in which 4 IDF soldiers were wounded took place inside Lebanese territory

After the IDF announced that four soldiers were injured at the northern border overnight, it has now been revealed that the incident took place inside Lebanon.

After earlier today (Monday), the IDF announced that four soldiers were wounded during an explosion at the northern border, it has now been released for publication that the incident took place inside Lebanese territory.

As you will recall, one of the soldiers was seriously injured, two others were moderately injured, and another one received light wounds in the explosion. The soldiers were evacuated for medical treatment, and their families were informed of the incident.

It was previously reported that the soldiers who were hurt in the explosion belonged to the Golani brigade and the Yahalom Combat Engineering Corps, and were participating in an operation in the western sector of the northern border. Officials have updated the media that the unit was operating hundreds of meters from Israeli territory.

Following publication of the story, Hezbollah has taken responsibility for the explosion.
