Watch: IDF eliminates head of Hezbollah's southern front

An IAF strike killed senior Hezbollah commander Hossein Ibrahim Makhi. Makhi was responsible for planning and carrying out numerous terrorist attacks against Israel.

The IDF announced today (Wednesday) that a senior Hezbollah commander in the "Southern Front" unit of the organization was eliminated during an attack in Lebanon last night.

The strike took place in the area of Tyre, southern Lebanon. Hossein Ibrahim Makhi was engaged in the promotion of various plots against Israel, and had previously served as the commander of Hezbollah's coastal sector.

Makhi is the 300th Hezbollah operative to be eliminated by Israel since the beginning of the war in Gaza and Hezbollah's subsequent rocket attacks toward the North of the country.
