Earlier today (Thursday) 2 IDF soldiers were extensively injured in the southern region of Gaza.
The IDF soldiers from the 46th Battalion of the 401st Armoured Brigade were transported to the hospital in critical condition following injuries sustained in combat during a military operation in Rafah.
The soldiers have been transferred to a hospital in Israel for medical care, and their families have been notified about their injuries. Initial IDF investigation suggests the injuries sustained were possibly caused by anti-tank fire from Hamas terrorists.
Before, the IDF Spokesperson's Unit stated that IDF soldiers discovered a tunnel shaft beneath a child's bed while conducting a drone scan. In a different room, the soldiers found a tunnel in the wall that had been made by Hamas terrorists to move between houses in busy areas.
During a separate search, soldiers found a significant amount of weapons concealed in closets within a civilian's home, such as grenades, explosives, a launcher, anti-tank missiles, ammunition, and firearms.
