Samir Geagea, Leader of the Lebanese Christian party Lebanese Forces, recently commented that "the situation in Lebanon cannot wait for a settlement for the situation in Gaza" and that "take decisive and instant measures regarding the southern front in terms of implementing Resolution 1701," according to Naharnet.
Geagea also reiterated his position that Hezbollah's decision to open a southern Lebanese front against Israel in support of Hamas in Gaza "was a major sin and not a mistake."
