According to the Saudi researcher, Hajj Mohsen was the top leader in Hezbollah.

As reported by the website *Israel Hayom*, al-Husseini said, "I know him very well. Hajj Mohsen is not number 2; he is number 1 in Hezbollah. He was one of the founders and was more significant than Imad Mughniyeh."

He added, "He even preceded Hassan Nasrallah. He was the top official in the Jihad Council. He is the Qasem Soleimani of Hezbollah, at that level."
