It was a heartwarming moment that caught an IDF soldier completely off guard.
While he was standing in a mall in Israel, the young serviceman was approached by a stranger who asked him to briefly hold a shopping bag from the clothing store "Gentleman."
Thinking nothing of it, the soldier obliged as the other man bent down to tie his shoelace.
But just as quickly as he had handed over the bag, the stranger stood up and briskly walked away, disappearing into the crowd.
Puzzled, the soldier opened the bag to discover a very nice gift item inside - a kind gesture from the anonymous passerby.
