Commander of Division 162: "We are conducting significant aerial fire in Jabalia"

The Commander of the Air Force, Major General Tomer Bar, visited today (Sunday) the Jabalia area in the Gaza Strip and conducted a field tour with the Commander of Division 162, Brigadier General Itzik Cohen, the Commander of the Givati Brigade, Lieutenant Colonel Liron Batito, and other commanders.

The commanders briefed the general on the situation, the operational achievements in the area, and the plans for the future, with an emphasis on the cooperation between air and ground forces.

Air Force Commander, Major General Tomer Bar, addressed the fighting and said: "For over a year, all branches of the Air Force have been working shoulder to shoulder with the brave fighters on the ground." "I want you to know that while you are here fighting the enemy on the ground, the Air Force is operating 24/7 to provide effective fire support to every force everywhere."

The commander of Division 162, Brigadier General Itzik Cohen, referred to the cooperation with the Air Force: "For over a year, we have been fighting throughout Gaza, with Air Force personnel constantly with us.
