The war against terror knows no end

IDF confirms: We attacked Hezbollah targets on the Syria-Lebanon border

The IDF attacked military infrastructure near the Joussieh border crossing in northern Bekaa, used by Hezbollah for the transfer of weapons. These targets have recently been made as Israel is tracing Hezbollah weapons back to Iran and following its smuggling route, including the Syria-Lebanon border to prevent transfer of further weapons used against Israel.

Air Force fighter jets, guided by the Intelligence Division, targeted military infrastructure near the Jousiya border crossing in northern Bekaa last night. These infrastructures are used by the terrorist organization Hezbollah to transfer weapons from Syria to Lebanon.

The terrorist organization Hezbollah exploits civilian crossings, including the Jousiyeh crossing, to transfer weapons originating from Iran and transported through Syria. These means are intended for use in terrorist activities against the citizens of the State of Israel and IDF forces operating in southern Lebanon.

The Jouya crossing is under the control of the Syrian regime and operated by the Syrian military intelligence. The weapons are transferred by Unit 4400, Hezbollah's Reinforcement and Cooperation Unit, responsible for transferring these means from Iran through Syria.
