Israeli security forces are currently responding to a potential security breach along the Jordanian border near Ne'ot HaKikar, as multiple suspects were spotted infiltrating Israeli territory Thursday afternoon.

Initial reports from security correspondent Hillel Bitton-Rosen indicate that three suspects carrying bags were identified crossing into Israeli territory. While early assessments suggest this may be a smuggling attempt, security forces are operating under the assumption that at least one of the suspects is armed.

The incident is taking place near Ne'ot HaKikar, a community located in southern Israel's Tamar Regional Council, close to the Dead Sea. The area has historically been used for smuggling operations but receives heightened security attention due to its strategic location along the Jordanian border.

Israeli forces have launched a search operation in the area. Residents in the region have been advised to remain vigilant while security forces work to locate and apprehend the suspects.
