UAV from Yemen strikes residential building 

A suspected drone attack sparks a fire but miraculously leaves no injuries reported.

What is suspected to be a UAV from Yemen hit a residential building in Yavne this morning (Monday) causing an explosion but causing no injuries.

This occurred without an alarm being activated in the area. According to published footage, a fire broke out on the top floor of the building.

"Earlier today, an explosion was heard in the city," a municipal statement said. "The incident is under investigation with security forces on-site."

The municipality added, "We are maintaining constant communication with the relevant authorities and will provide updates as soon as more information becomes available. At this time, there are no reports of injuries."

MDA paramedic Israel Weingarten and EMT Roy Ben Shushan, who responded to the scene, described the aftermath: "We arrived quickly with substantial forces and saw thick smoke rising from a balcony on the building's top floor. Upon entering the apartment, we observed significant damage on the balcony. We searched the affected apartment and others in the building, and so far, no casualties have been found."
