Message to Hamas: The Chief of Staff, Lieutenant General Herzi Halevi, held a situational assessment and command dialogue in the Jabalia area of the Gaza Strip last night (Monday) with the Commander of the Southern Command, Major General Yaron Finkelman, the Commander of Division 162, Brigadier General Itzik Cohen, and the division commanders.
During the situational assessment, Halevi said: "I want you to know, I am looking at the situation Hamas is in, they see every day what you are doing to them and they understand that this is close to becoming unbearable, and I am telling you we will not stop."
The Chief of Staff added: "We will bring them to the point where they understand that they need to bring all the hostages back, otherwise the very professional work you are doing will continue and continue, resulting in more prisoners and more killed operatives, and I know you are doing everything to ensure that we have as few casualties as possible."
