Iran is sinking fast
Iran’s economy teeters on the brink as U.S. tightens sanctions
Washington targets Iran’s oil and drone industries in a bid to cripple Tehran’s financial lifeline.

U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Besant revealed that Washington is planning a dramatic move against Iran's oil industry. "Our goal is to reduce Iran's oil production, which stands at 1.5 million barrels per day, and thus economically collapse the regime in Tehran," said Besant, who also stressed the importance of shutting down the country's UAV production capacity.
According to a report on Channel 12 News, Besant even advised Iranians to protect themselves from the impending collapse: "If I were an Iranian, I would exchange all my money immediately," he said during a recent conference in Washington.
As part of its efforts, the United States imposed heavy sanctions last month on an international trade network that was responsible for transporting oil between Iran and China.
U.S. President Donald Trump stressed last night that the United States is determined to prevent Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons at any cost. Trump revealed that he had written a personal letter to the Iranian president, making it clear to him that the priority of the United States is to conduct negotiations. "If Iran does not agree to negotiations, we will have no choice but to act," the US president warned.
Iran's Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei did not remain indebted and answered the US administration today. According to him, "Tehran will never accept demands to curb its missile program."
"Tehran will not negotiate under the pressure of a 'bullying state,'" Khamenei added, in response to Trump's letter and his interview with Fox Business, in which he said that "there are two ways that Iran can be dealt with – militarily, or by agreement, to prevent Tehran from obtaining nuclear weapons."
