US Sides with Ben Gvir and Smotrich: "Very Unhelpful Move"
The US condemned the decision by five countries to impose sanctions on Ministers Ben Gvir and Smotrich: "Concerned about any step that will lead to further isolation of Israel from the international community."

After five countries announced they would impose sanctions on Ministers Itamar Ben Gvir and Bezalel Smotrich, a US State Department spokesperson criticized the decision.
In a statement issued by Tammy Bruce, it was said that "this is a very unhelpful move." According to her: "This will not contribute anything to progress toward a ceasefire in Gaza. Britain, Australia, Norway, New Zealand and Canada should focus on the real culprit - which is Hamas. Hamas is the one that put Gaza residents in this situation. We are concerned about any step that will lead to further isolation of Israel from the international community."
As recalled, earlier today, UK Times, one of Britain's leading news outlets, reported that after extensive discussions and weeks of diplomatic preparation, Britain is joining countries like New Zealand and Australia, and imposed economic sanctions and direct measures on the two senior ministers.
According to the reports, Smotrich and Ben Gvir's assets in the United Kingdom (if any exist) will be frozen. Their access to cash withdrawal accounts in British banks will be prevented and they will be subject to a comprehensive ban on entering British territory.
