Following Riots: Hundreds of Police Officers Rush to Tarabin Village
Following violence that occurred over the weekend, forces are operating in a cordon around the village and at multiple focal points. Police clarify there is no suspicion of a security-related incident.

Following violent incidents and criminal revenge actions that occurred over the weekend in Tarabin village, Israel Police are currently conducting a large-scale operational activity at the location. During the operation, police forces also opened fire, and according to the police statement, there is no suspicion of any security-related incident.
The operation involves hundreds of police officers and fighters from the Southern District, Border Police, and additional units, operating in a cordon around the village and at several focal points in the area. The activity is being conducted as part of law enforcement and dealing with serious criminal offenses.
Police stated that forces are working to establish control in the area and maintain public order.
Following instructions from the Military Police's Camp Protection Division, alert levels have also been raised at bases in the south, with emphasis on the Gaza border area, due to concerns about potential revenge actions by Bedouins. An internal notice instructed forces to remain vigilant at gates and watch for suspicious movements. The IDF Spokesperson confirmed that the heightened alert has been in place since Saturday night.
