Gottlieb Celebrates Ben Gvir Push to Disqualify Abu Shehadeh

MK Tally Gotliv, who recently joined Itamar Ben Gvir's Otzma Yehudit party, responded to the controversy surrounding the debate over disqualifying Sami Abu Shehadeh from running in the upcoming Knesset elections.

"Another achievement for Itamar Ben Gvir!" she wrote. "For four years, Itamar Ben Gvir and Jewish Power members have been working diligently, collecting materials on terror supporters in the Knesset. Ben Gvir filed a petition against terror supporter Sami Abu Shehadeh, backed by extensive evidence."

She continued: "Miara's hand trembled when she had no choice but to recommend that the Election Committee seriously consider disqualifying Abu Shehadeh, the shahid-praising terror supporter who encouraged another October inferno, from his Knesset candidacy! Otzma Yehudit has set itself the goal of removing every terror supporter from the Knesset and will not rest until the last of them is gone."

Earlier, Otzma Yehudit released its position regarding the Attorney General's response on the matter.

"If after all the materials we brought against the Balad chairman, Sami Abu Shehadeh, the legal adviser cannot call a spade a spade and announce in the most unequivocal way that he must be disqualified from running for the Knesset, this shows how much she needs to be removed and how unfit she is for the position of legal counsel."

"Otzma Yehudit's petition is detailed, reasoned, and presents materials that unfortunately the state itself should have collected. The legal adviser to terror shows time and again how she stands with the terrorists and terror supporters, not with the people of Israel."

"In any case, the material we collected proves: Abu Shehadeh and Ra'am must be outside the Israeli Knesset. We will not rest and will not stop until we remove the terror supporters from the Knesset."
