Yair Netanyahu, son of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, posted a sharp accusation against the left today (Sunday), writing: "The left always accuses the right of its own crimes, this is also true regarding the issue of betrayal."
The younger Netanyahu also launched a fierce attack on the New York Times over its coverage of the war. In a combative post on his X account, he slammed the international coverage of the war and Israelis' reliance on the paper's reporting.
"The New York Times also published that Israel is starving and committing genocide in Gaza and that Israel trains dogs to rape Palestinians!" Netanyahu wrote. "The paper also denied the Holocaust of European Jewry in real time, and hid it from the American public!"
Netanyahu did not stop there, declaring that "this is an antisemitic, Israel-hating paper that libels us almost daily!" He turned his anger toward political opponents at home as well: "It's unbelievable that as far as the leftists are concerned, if something is published in the New York Times it's the truth!"
