Officers from the Eron police station carried out an overnight operation (Sunday to Monday) in the village of Bartaa in Judea and Samaria, during which two improvised explosive devices were located in an area adjacent to a residential building. The operation was conducted as part of the effort against illegal combat means, strengthening security and governance.
According to a statement released by the police spokesperson, the operation was carried out in cooperation with fighters from the tactical brigade. During a sweep of the area, forces identified the two improvised devices in a dangerous location near a residential structure.
Following the discovery, a police sapper was called to the scene, handled the area and worked to neutralize the devices and reduce the risk. Police defined the incident as "a thwarted criminal terror attack."
