Political analyst Michael Shemesh responded to a dramatic Channel 13 poll published Wednesday night showing Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's bloc at 55 mandates, the highest figure in recent surveys and a sign of significant strengthening for the right-wing camp.
"If the numbers in tonight's Channel 13 poll turn out to be the real results, you can say: the show is over for 'the Eisenkot government,'" Shemesh wrote.
"And it's time to start asking Eisenkot and his people for explanations: what are they doing to win?"
According to the survey, Netanyahu's Likud and Eisenkot's party are tied at 20 mandates each. Naftali Bennett's party follows with 12 seats, the Democrats with 10, and the Joint Arab List with 10.
Yisrael Beiteinu, United Torah Judaism and Otzma Yehudit each receive 8 mandates in the poll.
Shas and Religious Zionism each get 7 seats, Ra'am gets 6, and Amcha Yisrael crosses the threshold with 5 mandates.
The opposition bloc collapses to 50 mandates total.
