i24NEWS launched a new weekly program on Thursday, Israel Out Loud, bringing a fast-paced political debate format to its English channel as Israel heads toward the October 27 election.
The show airs every Thursday at 17:00 Israel time. Host Owen Alterman and a rotating panel of weekly co-hosts will break down the week's most heated political and social issues, offering contrasting perspectives on the debates driving the national conversation.
Each episode will also feature what the network calls a candid and uncensored interview with a prominent Israeli politician or an influential voice in Israeli society.
The first episode set the tone. Zehut party chairman Moshe Feiglin used his appearance to call for Gaza to be returned to Jewish hands and proposed relocating its residents to Somaliland.
"The price should be that the land of Gaza, that was always part of the Jewish Land, Eretz Israel, should be given back to the Jews. This is justice," Feiglin said.
He also addressed claims that Israel is committing war crimes, rejecting the terms genocide and war crime and describing his position as "justice."
"There is no other solution," he said. "You just open the borders and let them go, they will find their place like any other refuge."
With the campaign entering its final weeks, i24NEWS says viewers can expect sharp debate and conversations with the people at the center of Israel's political and social agenda.
