Winter weather is arriving in Israel this week, with temperatures dropping and rain expected across much of the country, accompanied by thunderstorms in some areas.

Wednesday will be partly cloudy with a slight rise in temperatures, particularly in the mountains and inland areas. Temperatures will remain normal for the season.

Thursday will be partly cloudy to cloudy, with a drop in temperatures that will leave them slightly below seasonal norms. Light local rain is possible in the north and along the coastal plain.

Friday will be partly cloudy to cloudy. Toward midday, local rain will begin to fall, with isolated thunderstorms possible, mainly in the north and along the coastal plain. Temperatures will drop further, particularly in the mountains and inland areas.

Shabbos will remain partly cloudy to cloudy, with local rain still possible, mostly light, primarily in the north and along the coastal plain. Temperatures will continue to be slightly below normal for the season.
