The levaya of Elazar Yair Vilensky z"l, a talmid at Ort Ma'alot yeshiva high school who was killed in a hiking accident during the yeshiva's annual tiyul in the north, will take place Wednesday at noon at the Choshen cemetery.
The levaya will be open to media coverage, but the family has asked that no interviews be conducted with family members before, during or after the levaya.
The municipality has asked all media outlets and reporters to respect the family's wishes, their privacy and their pain, and to refrain from approaching them directly.
The family thanks the public in advance for their understanding, sensitivity and cooperation.
