IDF Kills Hamas Commander Who Took Part in October 7 Massacre

The IDF announced today that it has eliminated Mohammed Mohammed Abd al-Halaq Halla, a commander in Hamas's military wing, in a strike in northern Gaza. According to the military, Halla invaded Israeli territory during the October 7 massacre.

In his role, Halla served as commander of the weapons production headquarters in Hamas's military wing. The IDF spokesperson said Halla assisted in manufacturing various combat means and advanced the military buildup of the terror organization throughout the Gaza Strip.

In a separate strike yesterday, the IDF targeted the Khan Yunis area in southern Gaza and eliminated Ahmed Gabrin Taufiq Dalhan, an operative in the military wing of Palestinian Islamic Jihad.

According to the announcement, the operatives had recently advanced terror plans against IDF forces and Israeli civilians and attempted to rebuild the organization's capabilities, in systematic violation of the ceasefire. The operatives were eliminated from the air to remove the threat.

The IDF spokesperson clarified that Southern Command forces are deployed in the area in accordance with the agreement and will continue to act to remove any immediate threat.

The targeted operations are being carried out as part of the IDF's efforts to remove immediate threats from the Gaza Strip and prevent terror organizations from rebuilding their capabilities, while maintaining the ceasefire agreements.
