Sa'ar Warns Right-Wing Voters: Wasted Votes will Hand Opposition 61 seats

Foreign Minister Gideon Saar issued a sharp warning to right-wing voters this morning in an interview with Kol Berama radio, expressing deep concern that votes for parties failing to cross the electoral threshold could cost the right-wing bloc its majority.

"I am very worried. The danger of right-wing voters casting ballots for parties that don't pass the threshold is real," he said during the interview, He pointed to historical precedents in the national camp that, he said, changed the course of the state.

"In '92, right-wing parties didn't pass the threshold, and 61 seats were enough for the left to bring Oslo upon us," he emphasized, adding firmly about the long-term consequences of those lost mandates: "We're seeing the results to this day."
