President Trump and Prime Minister Netanyahu reportedly had a difficult phone call lately, with the President demanding Israel end the war in Gaza and take strike plans in Iran off the table to help with negotiations with Saudi Arabia and Iran, according to a report today (Tuesday) by Channel 12 News.

Trump reportedly told Netanyahu that he wants him to aim to end the war, not just via the Witkoff deal but by any other means. He is quoted as having said "end it, the war has played itself out," adding that doing so would help with negotiations with Saudi Arabia and Iran.

Trump also told Netanyahu, who insisted that a credible military threat was necessary for effective negotiations with Iran, that despite the "not good" answer to be provided by Iran on a deal, he believes that he can secure an agreement, and therefore an attack should be taken off the agenda.

Trump also did not provide clear answers on whether he would greenlight an Israeli attack in the event talks with Iran failed or even agree to some degree of American support for such an attack.
