THE END GAME?

"End of the War?": Dramatic Assessment Follows Trump’s 5-Day Strike Freeze

Is the war ending? Analysts suggest Trump’s 5-day strike freeze is a move to declare a quick victory. While oil prices crash, questions remain: Is this a strategic win for Israel, or is Tehran being handed a lifeline?

A dramatic assessment by Israeli foreign affairs analysts suggests that the region may be on the verge of concluding the current conflict following President Donald Trump’s surprise announcement of a diplomatic opening with Tehran.

The "Winner’s Exit" Strategy

Following Trump’s social media declaration of "productive" talks and a five-day postponement of strikes on Iranian energy infrastructure, Channel 13’s foreign news correspondent provided a striking analysis of the situation.

"The announcement itself is dramatic," the analyst noted, pointing to soaring markets and plunging oil prices. However, he cautioned that "long-term meaning suggests we may be approaching the end of the event." According to this assessment, Trump is signaling that most objectives have been achieved precisely so he can declare victory and end the campaign immediately.

Immediate Protection for Iran (and Israel’s Role)

The immediate fallout of Trump’s decision is a protective umbrella over Iranian energy sites. "The Iranians are now enjoying protection for their energy facilities, including from Israel," the report emphasized. It is understood that Trump will not tolerate Israeli strikes that could sabotage his efforts to reach a final agreement.

This highlights a critical reality: Israel’s military movements remain closely tied to Trump’s directives. This dependency has been acknowledged by Prime Minister Netanyahu and was echoed recently by Israel’s Ambassador to the U.S., Yechiel Leiter.

Strategic Victory or "Clouds of Arrogance"?

While the diplomatic pivot offers hope for a ceasefire, the analyst raised a difficult question regarding the long-term outcome for the Jewish state.

"If the war stops now, can it be defined as a strategic Israeli victory? That is a very large question," he wrote. He urged the Israeli public to remain grounded: "I recommend looking through the clouds of arrogance that will be poured out here in massive quantities."

As the five-day countdown begins, the world is watching to see if this is a genuine path to peace or a temporary lull before a final escalation.
