Deal Of The Century?
Inside Trump’s mysterious Gaza plan – What’s he really offering?
The President reportedly wants to ensure an end to the war before his visit to the Middle East ends and the war restarts in earnest.

President Donald Trump is reportedly working to ensure a final end to the war in Gaza based on a comprehensive, sweeping deal negotiated with Israel, Hamas, and the Gulf states, according to a report today (Wednesday) by Saudi Arabia.
According to American and Arab sources speaking to Israel Hayom, this is the agreed-upon outline for a deal:
"The ceasefire will begin immediately based on the Witkoff framework, and within a few days half of the hostages will be released, with negotiations beginning for a complete end to the war.
"Hamas will release all Israeli hostages, including remains, during the negotiations, and in return Israel will release Palestinian prisoners according to the formula used until now. Humanitarian aid and supplies to Gaza residents will be restored.
"Israel will completely end its military operations in the Gaza Strip, and after an interim period and the placement of security guarantees, will fully withdraw to the border line.
"Hamas will surrender its weapons to an Arab entity, including everything from rockets to light weapons. Senior military leaders of Hamas, Islamic Jihad, and other "resistance" organizations will leave Gaza.
"Temporary housing camps will be established during the rehabilitation period, with possibilities to leave Gaza, prioritizing the sick and wounded.
"Gaza reconstruction will begin immediately upon the declaration of the war's end, managed by an Arab-American committee that will take control of Gaza, including representatives from the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Jordan, the US, and European representation. Palestinians will be represented on the committee by civilian figures, engineers, management and economic experts, and others.
"According to the framework, the Palestinian Authority will give its blessing and later, after implementing substantial reforms, will join the rehabilitation management, which is expected to take about ten years. PA involvement is contingent on structural reforms designed to improve its efficiency and reduce corruption.
"Security measures, maintaining order, and preventing renewed attacks on Israel will be implemented in gradual steps, beginning with international, Arab, and Palestinian forces taking responsibility for areas not under Israeli control, while Hamas disarms. The possibility remains that those who served as "police" under Hamas may participate in future Palestinian police forces."
While the deal's terms contain much for Israel to celebrate, especially the disarmament of Hamas and the exiling of its leaders abroad, it is far from the deal Israel thought it could get just a few weeks before from Trump, including voluntary relocation of much of the Gaza Strip's population and active security control of the Gaza Strip.
The deal would also require Israel to give up control of the current security perimeter and Philadelphi Corridor, conditions which Netanyahu and others in the government consider to be a red line. There is also no indication that Hamas has any interest in these conditions, even if Qatar pressures them at Trump's request.
The fate of a reordering of the Middle East now hangs in the balance, and has a clear time limit.
