The trailer (posted Monday with the coy caption “We’ll be back on Wednesday”) teases “explosive” claims that implicate Erika and TPUSA insiders in her husband’s murder, complete with the usual Owens cocktail of innuendo, cherry-picked clips, and wild conspiracy seasoning about “Zionists,” “handlers,” and who-knows-what-else.

Shapiro, visibly disgusted, didn’t mince words:“She is making money off the murder of Charlie Kirk by literally implicating his widow and everyone else at Turning Point USA in that murder, and then trying to dig up pseudo-dirt on the wife of the person who was murdered. I don’t know what to call that, other than evil trash.”

He went further, urging Erika Kirk to “sue the living hell out of” Owens.

Ben (as usual) is right. This isn’t journalism. This is ghoulish, bottom-feeding opportunism at its absolute worst, the kind that turns a widow and her children’s nightmare into content for clicks, subs, and merch drops. Charlie Kirk was shot in the neck on September 10, 2025, while speaking at Utah Valley University. The accused shooter, Tyler James Robinson, is in custody and facing the death penalty. The case is still grinding through the courts.

But facts? Nah.

Owens has spent months peddling the narrative that the official story is fake, that “they” took Charlie out, and now she’s laser-focused on the woman who had to bury her husband and step into his shoes.This is peak Candace Owens in 2026: the woman who already torched her bridges at Daily Wire in 2024 with antisemitism scandals has now fully graduated to professional widow-harasser. While actual conservatives are still mourning one of the movement’s brightest young stars, she’s out here turning his death into her personal true-crime grift series.

Shapiro’s post, just the two words “.@RealCandaceO is evil.” attached to the 9-minute-24-second rant, has already racked up over 1.2 million views in less than 24 hours.

The conservative internet is exploding, and for once, the outrage feels entirely justified.
