Explosive Vanity Fair Interview
Megyn Kelly: Ben Shapiro and Bari Weiss are 'Making Antisemites'
One of the saddest shifts within the conservative leadership has been the position Megyn Kelly has taken regarding Candace Owens and antisemitic rot taking over the movement. We expected more from her.

In a candid new interview with Vanity Fair, conservative commentator Megyn Kelly unleashed sharp criticism against fellow media figures Ben Shapiro and Bari Weiss, accusing them of fueling antisemitism through their staunch pro-Israel positions and efforts to "cancel" voices like hers from the conservative movement.
Kelly, speaking amid ongoing rifts within MAGA circles, didn't hold back: "They are making antisemites. Tucker [Carlson] is not making antisemites. They are," she said, pointing to Shapiro and Weiss as the real culprits behind rising anti-Jewish sentiment on the right.
She lambasted Weiss, the new CBS News editor-in-chief, for hypocrisy: "Bari in particular has made her career on the anti-cancel culture thing. Meanwhile, she's never been canceled. And she's basically supporting Ben's attempt to cancel me from the conservative movement, of which she's not a part."
Turning her fire on Shapiro, the Daily Wire co-founder, Kelly labeled him "Israel first," arguing his priorities have fractured conservative unity: "I'm sorry, but his behavior has proven that charge to be correct. Why would you divide the American conservative movement—which was gelling, which was becoming much more cohesive for a moment after Charlie [Kirk] died—over Israel!"
This echoes her recent AmericaFest speech, where she called out Shapiro for "betraying" their friendship by trying to excommunicate her over her stance on figures like Candace Owens and Tucker Carlson.
The feud stems from broader tensions in conservatism, amplified after Kirk's death and debates over Israel, antisemitism, and free speech. Kelly has defended Owens amid her ousting from Daily Wire over alleged antisemitic remarks, while Shapiro and Weiss have positioned themselves as gatekeepers against such rhetoric.
Kelly's comments come as she promotes her evolving role in the movement, insisting she's "embarrassed" for her critics and rejecting their authority: "Ben thinks he has the power to decide who gets excommunicated from the conservative movement."
Sadly, Megyn was one of the last normal voices in the conservative movement, but not anymore.
She's edging closer to Team Candace every time she opens her mouth.
