BREAKING: Suicide Bombing Reported in Pakistan
In a brazen dawn assault, suicide bombers and gunmen storm Pakistan's Frontier Constabulary HQ in Peshawar, claiming three lives and igniting chaos amid fierce firefights. As security forces battle back, the shadow of Tehrik-i-Taliban looms large, exposing the fragile grip on peace in a terror-plagued region.

Today, at least three Frontier Constabulary (FC) paramilitary personnel were killed in a coordinated terrorist attack on their headquarters in Peshawar, northwestern Pakistan, involving suicide bombers and gunmen.
The assault began around 9 a.m. local time with two suicide bombers detonating explosives at the main gate, followed by gunfire from additional militants who attempted to storm the complex.
Reports indicate up to five others, including civilians and security forces, were injured, with heavy gunfire and explosions heard in the area.
Security forces quickly cordoned off the site, declaring an emergency at nearby hospitals, and engaged in ongoing firefights to neutralize the attackers.
All three suicide bombers were reportedly killed by FC personnel during the clash.
No group has claimed responsibility yet, but the Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) is suspected given the region's history of insurgent activity.
This incident highlights escalating security challenges in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, with Peshawar Inspector General Zulfiqar Hameed confirming the attack's details to media.
