The Community Security Trust or CST, an organization that tracks antisemitism in Britain, published its report for 2023 today, showing a massive increase in antisemitic incidents compared to previous years, mostly due to the war.

According to the report, of the 4,103 incidents recorded during 2023, fully 2,699 occurred after October 7.

The overwhelming majority of antisemitic incidents (3,328) involved abusive behavior, followed by threats (305), assault (266), damage and desecration (182), and antisemitic literature (22).

While the bulk of antisemitic incidents took place in Greater London and Greater Manchester, where the bulk of Britain's Jews live, the CST reports that "for the first time ever, antisemitic incidents were recorded in every single police region in the UK."

Both the Home Secretary and the opposition shadow Home Secretary strongly condemned this increase in antisemitic violence calling it "utterly deplorable" and "appalling and intolerable."
