The United States Central Command (CENTCOM) successfully destroyed an anti-ship ballistic missile and two drones in the Red Sea launched by the Iranian-backed Houthi terrorists from Yemen. No injuries or damage were reported in the incident.

In addition, the Americans destroyed a mobile surface-to-air missile system in the area controlled by the Houthis. These systems posed a threat to the forces and merchant ships.

Following the attacks, the US Central Command stated that "the command is committed to protecting freedom of navigation and making international waters safe."

A senior US military official added: "The Houthis are about to exhaust their stockpile of weapons."
