Brazil's President Lula de Silva has repeatedly charged Israel with committing "genocide" in Gaza and even comparing the country to Nazi Germany, but this has not prevented Brazil from making a major purchase of mobile artillery systems from Israeli defense company Elbit, according to Calcalist.
According to Calcalist's report, Elbit is set to provide Brazil with a substantial number of ATMOS (Autonomous Truck Mounted howitzer System) systems, as well as a large supply of 155 mm shells to go with them.
The Philippines Army is reportedly also acquiring a number of guns of the same type.
