AFP: Poland charges migrant smugglers suspected of funnelling tens of millions to Hezbollah

According to the Polish prosecution, the smuggling ring manages a large cryptocurrency fund, and has transferred at least $30 million worth to Hezbollah and Palestinian Jihadist groups.

Poland has dismantled a migrant smuggling group which also maintained a large cryptocurrency fund, used among other things to fund terrorist groups, according to a report by AFP.

The leaders of the group reportedly manage $581 million worth cryptocurrency, at least $30 million of which has gone to Hezbollah and Palestinian terrorist groups and over $13 million to a site under US sanctions.

Thirty six members of this alleged network have been charged so far, according to Polish prosecutors.
