POWER PLAY: Trump's Move Has World Leaders Scrambling

Global Earthquake: Trump Just Signed Executive Order Pulling the Plug on Billions in UN Funding

President Donald Trump made a bold decision by signing an executive order to withdraw the United States from the UN Human Rights Council and cut all funding to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA). This move follows years of intense controversy surrounding both organizations, particularly regarding their biases and questionable affiliations with terrorist groups.

While signing the executive order against the UN President Trump commented "Ive always felt that the UN has tremendous potential, its not living up to that potential right now it really isnt. It hasnt for a long time. It has great hopes for it but its not being well run to be honest. They are not doing a good job handling a lot of these conflicts that we're working which should have been settled or we should have had help in settling them. We never seem to get help, that should be the primary purpose of the UN. They've got to get their act together."

UNRWA, which operates facilities in Gaza, has repeatedly faced accusations of harbouring ties to Hamas, a recognized terrorist organization. Investigations have uncovered Hamas weapons caches in UNRWA schools and discovered tunnels dug beneath its buildings. Additionally, there have been allegations of UNRWA hiring staff with connections to extremist groups and using educational materials that incite violence against Israel.

Similarly, the UN Human Rights Council has long been criticized for its disproportionate focus on Israel while granting membership to countries with appalling human rights records, such as China, Venezuela, and Iran. The Council’s actions, according to many critics, have undermined its credibility, making it an ineffective institution in promoting global human rights.

Trump’s executive order represents a broader commitment to holding international organizations accountable for their actions and ensuring that American taxpayer dollars are not funneled into controversial and biased institutions.

By severing ties with both the UN Human Rights Council and UNRWA, Trump has made a clear statement that the U.S. will no longer support organizations that fail to meet basic standards of integrity and impartiality, especially when these bodies are complicit in the perpetuation of anti-Israel rhetoric and terrorism. This move underscores his administration’s focus on protecting U.S. interests while challenging global institutions that may promote agendas contrary to American values.
