Andrew Kolvet, the executive producer of The Charlie Kirk Show and a longtime friend of the late conservative activist Charlie Kirk, has shared insights into Kirk's perspectives on Israel, emphasizing a supportive yet critical stance amid swirling conspiracy theories following Kirk's assassination.

In a recent appearance on Turning Point USA commentator Alex Clark's podcast POPlitics, Kolvet described Kirk's position on the Israel-Hamas war, quoting him as saying, "I like them [Israel] more than I like Hamas. I just wish I was free to criticize Israel and not be labeled an anti-Semite. Because I can criticize my own government and not be called anti-American, but why do I have more freedom to do that, and not criticize a foreign government?" Kolvet noted that Kirk was "really upset that there was this sort of clampdown on the freedom of expression, freedom of ideas, free speech, when it came to a foreign government."

Kolvet further explained that Kirk believed his credentials as a "friend of the Jewish people" were "unassailable," allowing him to advocate for positions like ending the war or halting violence without facing undue backlash. This discussion arose in the context of debunking conspiracy claims, including those from former Turning Point USA ambassador Candace Owens, who suggested Kirk had been offered money from Israel or had shifted away from his pro-Israel views. Kolvet firmly rejected these notions, stating Kirk refused any foreign funding and maintained consistent support for Israel. He recalled these frustrations from one of their final conversations.

Kolvet reiterated these points during a September 24, 2025, interview on Rising, a program hosted by The Hill, where he again highlighted Kirk's irritation with perceived double standards in critiquing Israel compared to domestic issues, while affirming Kirk's overall preference for Israel in the ongoing conflict.
