Social media platforms, particularly X, are abuzz with claims of a U.S. Air Force F-15 fighter jet crashing over Kuwait earlier today, with the pilot reportedly ejecting safely.

The footage depicts a fighter jet descending with visible flames or smoke from its rear, followed by what appears to be an ejection sequence and the aircraft spiraling downward.

Israel Live News explains: Reports say the US fighter jet that went down over Kuwait was hit by another US aircraft after a mistaken identification. Both pilots are reported to have survived.

No official confirmation has emerged from the U.S. military or Kuwaiti authorities.
