Presley Gerber Death: New Details From Rehab Facility

Disturbing new information has surfaced regarding the death of Presley Gerber, the 27-year-old son of supermodel Cindy Crawford and businessman Rande Gerber. The model was discovered unresponsive at a rehabilitation facility in California this past Sunday, with authorities still investigating the precise circumstances surrounding the tragedy.

According to recordings obtained by PEOPLE magazine, Santa Monica police were dispatched to an address on Berkeley Street at 9:35 a.m. following a report of cardiac arrest. The magazine later reported that emergency responders arrived at the location due to a suspected overdose. Paramedics who reached the scene pronounced Gerber dead at 9:45 a.m.

In an official statement released yesterday, local police confirmed that officers found Presley lifeless upon their arrival at the facility where he had been admitted. According to reports, Gerber had been staying at the rehabilitation center for only a short time before his death. An autopsy was performed at the Los Angeles County medical examiner's office, but the cause and manner of death have not yet been officially determined.

The final determination regarding cause of death has been deferred pending additional test results, a process that could take several months. The Los Angeles County medical examiner's office will make the ultimate ruling, officials said.

Public Struggle With Mental Health

In recent years, Gerber had been open about his battles with mental health and addiction. He used social media platforms to share his struggles with depression, anxiety and substance use with his followers, even launching a video series titled "Mental Health Mondays."

In one video he posted in 2025 and later deleted, he revealed that he had been treated by 15 different psychiatrists and had been prescribed numerous psychiatric medications in an attempt to control the severe anxiety attacks from which he suffered.
