A video not previously released, now circulating on social media, captures the moments just seconds after the plane touched down on Saudi soil. The footage shows blood and injuries from the violent struggle in the cockpit.
At the start of the video, the flight captain, Indian national Samit Makhsahar, can be seen receiving initial medical treatment from Saudi forces, while the Omani copilot lies bound on the floor, restrained with what appears to be industrial fabric straps.
In the video, Israeli passengers make clear that they are demanding that only police remove the attacking copilot from the aircraft, insisting that officers arrive and take responsibility for the situation in the cockpit and for the assailant.
