"We continue to monitor the health of Samit, the brave pilot from Fly Dubai flight FZ1073. After receiving initial treatment at the hospital in Tabuk, Saudi Arabia, he has now been transferred for further treatment and recovery in Abu Dhabi," the ministry said.

The statement added that "India's ambassador to the UAE met with Machachar earlier today at the hospital and reported that his condition is good and he is recovering. The embassy in Abu Dhabi and the consulate in Dubai are in contact with local authorities on all matters related to the case."

The Indian Foreign Ministry concluded by saying, "We again salute Samit's bravery and courage, and appreciate the support he has received from around the world for his bold actions."
