Iran's foreign minister, Abbas Araghchi, has issued a blunt ultimatum aimed directly at the American administration and the president who leads it. In his statement, he referenced the results of the US midterm elections and made clear that the decision now rests with the White House.
"American voters made their choice. Time for the White House to make its own," Araghchi wrote on his X account.
"Our offer stands as it was: stop the war, accept our demands and see the results, or choose to continue the war and watch our battle-hardened fighters bring hell upon you."
