Tucker Carlson Loses It at TPUSA Conference | WATCH
Tucker Carlson faces a fiery on-campus showdown at Indiana University as a student grills him over private Dominion lawsuit texts revealing disdain for Trump, sparking a near-nine-minute clash over credibility, money, and media transparency, ending with Carlson cutting the Q&A short amid cheers and chaos.

Yesterday, Tucker Carlson headlined a Turning Point USA (TPUSA) event at Indiana University, where he engaged in a heated Q&A session with attendees.
During the exchange, a student confronted Carlson about private text messages from the 2023 Dominion Voting Systems defamation lawsuit against Fox News, in which Carlson had expressed strong personal disdain for Donald Trump (e.g., "I hate him passionately").
The student accused Carlson of gaslighting his audience by not being transparent about those views on air and suggested his motives might be financial, claiming Carlson was worth around $50 million.
Carlson grew visibly frustrated during the nearly nine-minute back-and-forth, defending himself by noting that the texts were private frustrations over unverified election fraud claims he had aired without fact-checking, which embarrassed him publicly.
He called the student "annoying" and contrasted him with a previous questioner who disagreed civilly.
When the net worth accusation came up, Carlson reacted sharply, denying it and exclaiming, "I’m not worth $50 million. Get off the [expletive] internet, son. Stop believing that stuff. $50 million?"
The student adjusted to "30 to 50 [million]" and later admitted he had just thrown out a number that sounded like "a lot of money," which made Carlson defensive.
The confrontation escalated when the student said "Jesus Christ, calm down," prompting Carlson to end it abruptly: "Don’t use that phrase. We’re done... No, you can’t. Not after you say that. LEAVE!" The student left amid cheers from the crowd.
The clip went viral on X and YouTube, with many users describing Carlson's response as an "overreaction" or "meltdown," particularly to the net worth comment, given his reported $20 million annual Fox salary before his 2023 departure (estimates of his actual net worth vary widely online, from $30 million to over $50 million).
Some speculated it shattered his "normal guy" persona, as he's from a wealthy family and has significant money. Carlson also briefly addressed his father's past CIA ties during the event but dismissed it aggressively.
