"A BEAUTIFUL SIGHT"

Viral Video Shows U.S. Tankers Fueling Israeli Strikes Over Iran | WATCH

American KC-46 and KC-135 tankers are providing critical mid-air refueling for Israeli fighter jets during "Operation Epic Fury." The U.S. "tanker bridge" at Ben Gurion Airport has doubled the IAF's long-range strike capacity against Iran.

In an unprecedented display of integrated combat operations, U.S. Air Force (USAF) refueling tankers have been observed providing direct aerial support to Israeli Air Force (IAF) fighter jets during deep-penetration missions into Iranian airspace.

The "Tanker Bridge" at Ben Gurion

Military analysts and open-source flight trackers have documented a massive influx of American aerial refueling assets at Ben Gurion International Airport over the last 72 hours.

The Fleet: At least 14 U.S. tankers, including nine KC-46A Pegasus and five KC-135 Stratotankers, are currently operating out of Israel’s primary hub.

Capabilities: This deployment more than doubles the IAF's organic refueling capacity, which traditionally relies on seven aging KC-707 platforms. The presence of the KC-46A, which can refuel multiple aircraft simultaneously, allows Israeli F-35s and F-15Is to carry heavier ordinance and loiter longer over high-value targets in central and eastern Iran.

Mid-Air Footage: Social media reports, including posts from retired USAF pilot Buzz Patterson, have highlighted the "beautiful" coordination of U.S. tankers fueling Israeli jets, describing the sight of the two flags working in tandem as a historic turning point in the alliance.

Strategic Significance

The integration of U.S. refueling assets into "Operation Roaring Lion" (Israel) and "Operation Epic Fury" (U.S.) provides several critical advantages:

Extended Loiter Time: Israeli jets can now remain on station over Iran to hunt mobile missile launchers or assess battle damage without the immediate risk of "landing on fumes."

Safety Margins: The tankers provide a "recovery bridge" for aircraft that may have sustained damage or consumed excess fuel during high-G dogfights or evasion maneuvers.

Strike Intensity: With a guaranteed fuel supply, the IAF can launch larger "strike packages" involving hundreds of aircraft, rather than smaller, staggered waves.

A Unified Front

While Israeli officials have maintained their policy of not commenting on specific operational details, the presence of 14 USAF tankers at Ben Gurion is a visible confirmation of the "full synchronization" President Trump alluded to in his weekend address.

"U.S. Air Force tanker support is the secret weapon of this campaign," noted a defense analyst for The War Zone. "It unlocks the full combat potential of the IAF, turning a regional air force into a global-reach powerhouse."

Dozens of additional U.S. tankers remain stationed across Europe and the Mediterranean, ready to surge into the theater if the conflict expands further.
