Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi told the Tasnim news agency that Tehran's talks with the United States are continuing through intermediaries. He said Iran is studying an American proposal and will deliver its answer within days.
In September, Araghchi announced that Iran had submitted a seven-day plan to the United States. The plan covered an end to hostilities, the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz and the launch of comprehensive nuclear negotiations.
