As Israel approved the entry of humanitarian aid into the Gaza Strip, tensions within the coalition deepened. MK Tzvi Sukkot of the Religious Zionism Party warned that his party will withdraw from the government if it believes the leadership has abandoned its pursuit of what he called a “total victory,” including population displacement.

“If we believe that the government has given up on decisive victory, including the option of population transfer, we will not remain in the coalition,” Sukkot stated. “At the moment, the situation is the opposite - we’re on track.”

Sukkot accused the media and the political left of orchestrating a year-long campaign to pressure the public into accepting a ceasefire with Hamas: "The national resilience is under assault by the left and the media, whose goal is to make us surrender - because they claim victory is impossible anyway."

He further emphasized that internal disagreements are to be handled within the cabinet: "As long as we’re moving toward total victory—conquest and emigration included - we will debate internally. That’s why leaking from the cabinet is a criminal offense."

Addressing concerns over the humanitarian aid, Sukkot differentiated the current strategy from past concessions: "Unlike earlier stages of the war, this time the enormous international pressure to allow aid into Gaza won’t result in a lifeline to Hamas. Distribution will be handled by foreign companies, under IDF security. That is a very, very significant change."

Sukkot concluded with a message of defiance and determination: "We must not, under any circumstances, join the left’s efforts to sow despair. When five divisions are entering Gaza with a clear order to conquer, that’s exactly the time to lift morale.
