Har Hamor Yeshiva: "Not at our school"

Clashes at the Har Hamor yeshiva: "Not at our school"

Dozens of protesters arrived shortly at Har Hamor's yeshiva and demonstrated in front of an education conference held today at the yeshiva, claiming that it is an "extremist messianic stream behind the judicial reform."

During the protest, clashes occurred between some of the demonstrators and security forces who were trying to move the demonstration to a nearby public park.

Last night, a message was published on behalf of the organizers of the protest, stating: "Emergency order for education. Tomorrow, July 30, at 8:30, an education conference of the most extreme messianic stream in religious Zionism - Yeshivat Har Hamor, whose goal is to turn the State of Israel into a halakhic state based on messianism, racism, Jewish supremacy, segregation of women, homophobia, and declared anti-liberal values."

According to the message, "It was announced that the conference is open to the general public but is intended for men only. The speakers at the conference are the ideological driving force behind the coup. For this purpose, we will arrive at Yeshivat Har Hamor and convey an educational lesson on democracy to the attendees: Segregation of women - not in our school. Racism - not in our school. Homophobia - not in our school. Jewish supremacist ideology - not in our school."
