Security forces arrested 5 Palestinians overnight (Monday) suspected of involvement in the violent clash that occurred on Saturday near the village of Burqa, where a 19-year-old Palestinian was fatally shot and an Israeli citizen was severely injured. These are the first Palestinians to be arrested as part of the investigation into the incident.

According to the police, 2 of the arrested suspects are minors, and 3 are adults. The Palestinians were arrested on suspicion of participating in a severe attack and causing serious injury in an event that occurred on Friday night near the village. It was further clarified that "the investigation into the incident continues, and additional arrests are expected."

Meanwhile, the two Jewish settlers who were arrested on suspicion of firing remain in custody, with one of the suspects remaining hospitalized at Shaare Zedek Medical Center.

It should be mentioned that the incident began during the Sabbath when Arab assailants from the village of Burqa began attacking a Jewish shepherd who was walking in an open area near the Arab village. The shepherd called his friends, who came to help him during the violent assault. According to the settlers' claims, dozens of Arab attackers began assaulting them with clubs and stones. In response, the shepherd fired towards one of the assailants, killing him.

Furthermore, it is alleged that the assailants attempted to smash the skull of the Jewish shepherd using a rock, and he was taken to Shaare Zedek Medical Center, where he needed to undergo a head surgery. Following the violent attack, the shepherd fired towards one of the assailants and killed him, claiming it was in self-defense.
