During the night: 16 suspects were arrested in Judea and Samaria

IDF soldiers conducted operations last night (Sunday) to arrest 16 wanted individuals throughout Judea and Samaria, and also confiscated military equipment and combat means. IDF, Shin Bet, and Border Police forces operated last night (Sunday) to arrest 16 wanted individuals throughout Judea and Samaria, as well as in the Jordan Valley Division. They also confiscated various combat means that were found. The arrested suspects and the confiscated combat equipment were handed over for further security forces' processing, with no reported casualties among the soldiers during the operation.

According to an IDF spokesperson's statement, two wanted individuals were arrested during a divisional operation to combat terrorism in the villages of Abu Dis and Izaria in the Etzion Division. Additionally, the forces located and confiscated two ready-to-use explosive devices and military equipment.

It is further reported that the soldiers arrested eight wanted individuals in the villages of Hizma, Beit Awwa, Kfar Malik, Kobar, and Deir Qaddis. During the operation in the village of Kobar, a violent disturbance occurred, and the forces used means to disperse the protests.

Six additional wanted individuals were arrested in the villages of Tamun, Beit Ummar, Wadi Siman, Deir Samet, Kfar Kaddum, and the Askar refugee camp. In addition, the soldiers located and confiscated parts of firearms, a disassembled M-16, ammunition, and military equipment.

During the operation in the village of Tamun, suspects opened fire and threw Molotov cocktails and an explosive device towards the forces, who responded by using means to disperse the protests. According to the IDF, damage was caused to military vehicles as a result.
