At the beginning of the cabinet meeting today (Sunday - Israel), Ministers Yitzhak Goldknopf and Michael Malchieli addressed the freezing of food stamps by the High Court of Justice.

As published last week, the High Court of Justice decided to freeze the food stamps project and an interim order was issued against the move. The decision infuriated the ministers of Shas and Torah Judaism. Minister Yitzhak Goldknopf said at the beginning of the cabinet meeting that the decision will be annulled, according to him "the court will understand that it is necessary to give poor people food stamps".

We hope that this matter will be resolved as soon as possible." To the question of whether they would respect the rulings of the High Court, Minister Malchieli chose to ignore them.
